The Amalfi coast is stunning and the hillside town of Ravello has the best views on the coastline. It is said Ravello is situated ‘halfway between the sky and the sea’ and it is certainly one of the most beautiful places in the world. Some 365 metres above sea-level, the medieval town is made up of narrow alleys with steep steps, it has a beautiful piazza and cathedral built in 1087. Civil marriages are performed in the local town hall.The town hall can host up to 45 guests.These are shorter and simpler than religious ceremonies, of course, but can be charming and memorable.Weddings are performed by the Mayor of Town or Civil registrar.
