Planning a destination wedding is very exciting but also daunting at the same time because you have to rely on your planner(s) to make the best recommendation for you. After some extensive research, we found Wagner Tours in Ravello and their amazing wedding planners Mario Capuano and Annamaria Staiano. They are true professionals and incredible people. As soon as we contacted Wagner Tours, Mario Capuano’s experience and great attention to detail kicked in, he took control and walked us through the whole process, the timelines, and the requirements to ensure there were no surprises.

No other wedding planners will send you an extensive information package about every major detail of your wedding before you even book them! We knew right away we were in good hands. Mario simply made the planning process seem so easy by providing us all the details we needed to make decisions including pictures, videos, samples, recommendations, etc. He is highly organized and kept track of our budget including any updates and changes throughout the entire process.
What we appreciated the most is how genuine, honest, and caring Mario and Annamaria were all along. They treated our wedding as if it was their own. They answered all of our emails in a very timely manner, usually within hours and in some cases immediately (we are in a different time zone!). We also appreciated the honest opinion from Mario when he felt we were overdoing something for example late night snacks for the dance party. We felt our guests would be hungry and ordered them anyway. However, Mario was right (believe me he always is), throughout the evening a lot of food was served and the guests were still full during the dance party.
We were also extremely happy with the venue, Villa Eva (WOW what a stunning venue), and the breath-taking view from the terrace of the Amalfi coast. The villa was beautifully decorated thanks to Annamaria’s amazing work and creativity. She is so positive and authentic and just a pleasure to work with. She made the venue look fancier and more elegant than it already is and was very accommodating and resourceful to ensure our requests were fulfilled. Nothing was too difficult for Mario and Annamaria, they even made the impossible happen and surprised us on our wedding day. You really can’t ask for more than that.
On the wedding day, both Mario and Annamaria made sure everything went as planned. He gave us plenty of time with the photographer Enrico Capuano and the videographer Pier Canta who did an absolutely fabulous job capturing all important moments of our day. Seeing samples of his work, we immediately knew that Enrico would do a great job at the wedding, however, he exceeded our expectations. Enrico is extremely talented and fully understood the vision of our wedding. From the preparations at the hotel, to the ceremony, to the photo session at Villa Rufolo garden, to Villa Eva’s terrace and rooftop, to the dinner and dance party, everything was perfect.
The food at the villa was delicious. The cake was unbelievable and we highly recommend the desert buffet. Our guests loved every second of our wedding from the incredible views (the pictures don’t do them justice) to the wonderful ambiance, it truly was a dream.
Overall, we are extremely pleased to have planned our Ravello wedding with Wagner Tours. Mario Capuano, Annamaria Staiano, Enrico Capuano and Pier Canto far exceeded our expectations and made our dream wedding come true. Even our guests kept commenting how good our planners were during the reception. We would recommend their services in a heartbeat for anyone getting married in Ravello, arguably the most beautiful place on earth. Don’t even think about going with a different wedding planner if you want to enjoy a stress free and incredibly enjoyable wedding planning process.
